Network & Wi-Fi Configuration on zTC

Summary

Set up wired and wireless interfaces, static or DHCP addressing, DNS servers, and proxy settings.

Prerequisites

  • zTC with SnapOS ≥1.3
  • Network credentials (SSID/password) for Wi-Fi

Procedure

  1. Open Network Settings
    • Start → Preferences → Settings → Network
  2. Configure Ethernet
    • Select “Wired” → choose DHCP or Static → if Static, enter IP, Netmask, Gateway, DNS → Save
  3. Configure Wi-Fi
    • Select “Wireless” → scan for SSID → click Connect → enter password → Save
  4. Proxy & VLAN
    • Under “Advanced,” configure HTTP/HTTPS proxy or 802.1Q VLAN tagging → Apply

Troubleshooting

  • No link light: check cable and switch port; try alternate cable.
  • Wi-Fi fails to connect: verify SSID/password and RF channel support (2.4 GHz vs 5 GHz).
