Buy the license once and own it outright. An annual maintenance contract (AMC) is required to keep support and updates active, available in 1-, 3-, or 5-year terms.
Subscription
One monthly fee covers the license, centralized management, and support together - nothing separate to track or renew. Available in 1- or 3-year terms.
