Configuring Citrix Remote Session on zTC
Summary
Step-by-step instructions to install, configure and use Citrix Workspace on your zTC, including profile management, USB & audio redirection.
Prerequisites
- zTC with SnapOS ≥1.3
- Citrix Workspace app installed (via App Configurator or zMAN) :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
- StoreFront or Citrix Gateway URL and valid user credentials
- Any USB devices you wish to redirect (e.g. mass storage, HID peripherals)
Procedure
- Launch Citrix Workspace
- Start → Applications → Citrix Workspace
- Accept license if prompted → click Add Account
- Add Store
- Enter your StoreFront/Gateway URL → Click Add
- Enter credentials → select your Store → Login
- Launch a Desktop or App
- Double-click the desired published Desktop or Application icon to start your session
- Profile from Management Software
- Double-click the Citrix shortcut on the desktop if provisioned via zMAN
USB Redirection
- Launch your Citrix session → then connect any USB device you wish to redirect (excluding webcams) :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
- For USB webcams: connect first, then launch session; camera is auto-redirected
Audio Redirection
- Enabled by default; USB headsets override 3.5 mm jack. To use jack, unplug any USB audio device :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
