App Configurator on zTC

Summary

Enable or disable built-in applications and VDI protocols to tailor your zTC’s feature set.

Prerequisites

  • zTC with SnapOS ≥1.3
  • zTC not managed by zMAN (App Configurator is grayed out under management) :contentReference[oaicite:4]{index=4}.

Procedure

  1. Start → Applications → App Configurator.
  2. Select desired categories (e.g., VDI clients, VPN, Accessories) by checking/unchecking.
  3. Click Apply → reboot if prompted to enforce changes.

Advanced Configuration

  • Use zMAN policy to push App Configurator settings centrally for device groups.

Troubleshooting

  • If changes do not persist, confirm the device isn’t receiving a conflicting zMAN policy.
