Overview

Display settings in zMan Director allow administrators to configure monitor resolution and display mode for managed zTC devices.

Display settings can be created as part of a reusable device settings configuration and applied to individual zTC devices or groups of devices.

Display Settings

Display Configuration

Display settings support monitor configuration for managed zTC devices.

Documented display configuration options include:

  • Monitor resolution
  • Supported display mode
  • Extended mode
  • Clone mode

Monitor Support

Under the device settings page, zMan allows administrators to configure up to four monitors as part of the generic settings configuration.

The actual monitor layout on an individual zTC device may vary. For individual device settings, zMan can fetch the current monitor resolution and supported monitor display information from the zTC.

Applying Display Settings

Display settings may be applied to:

  • Individual zTC devices
  • Groups of zTC devices

This allows administrators to standardize display configuration across managed devices while still accounting for device-specific monitor support.

Notes

  • Display settings are generic device settings and may not match the exact monitor layout connected to every zTC.
  • zMan may allow four-monitor configuration even if an individual device has fewer monitors connected.
  • Some system settings changed directly on the zTC may not immediately reflect in zMan Director.
  • Display settings availability may vary depending on device firmware, hardware, and connected monitors.
