zDiag Configurator on zTC

Summary

Enable and configure remote logging for troubleshooting: syslog, Metricbeat, Filebeat, SDK debug.

Prerequisites

  • zTC with SnapOS ≥1.3
  • zDiag license and server endpoint (if using AmZetta reporting)

Procedure

  1. Launch zDiag Configurator
    • Start → Applications → zDiag Configurator
  2. Select Log Streams
    • Enable Syslog / Metricbeat / Filebeat / SDK → enter server URL/port → Apply
  3. Adjust Levels
    • Under each stream, set verbosity (Error, Warning, Info, Debug) → Save

Troubleshooting

  • No logs received: verify network connectivity and firewall rules to log server.
  • Too much data: lower verbosity or disable unused streams.
