Overview

The List view under zTC Clients provides administrators with centralized visibility into registered and managed zTC devices within zMan Director.

This page allows administrators to monitor device registration status, provisioning state, assigned zDM servers, and operational status for managed thin clients.

Device Visibility

The List view displays registered zTC devices along with associated device information.

Depending on deployment configuration, the following information may be displayed:

  • Device name
  • zTC ID
  • Device status
  • Assigned zDM server
  • Firmware version
  • IP address
  • Location information
  • Provisioning status
  • Registration state

Device States

Devices may appear in different operational states depending on provisioning and connectivity status.

Typical states include:

  • Registered
  • Pending
  • Assigned
  • Unassigned
  • Offline
  • Online

These states help administrators identify onboarding progress and operational health.

Device Management Actions

The List view provides access to multiple device management operations.

Available actions may include:

  • Edit Location
  • Device Information and Settings
  • Remote Debug
  • Power Options
  • De-register

Available actions may vary depending on device status and user permissions.


Provisioning Visibility

Once a zTC device is provisioned successfully through zDM, it will appear in the registered device list.

Devices imported through CSV upload or manual entry may initially appear under the unassigned category until associated with a zDM server.


Monitoring and Operations

The List view serves as the primary operational interface for:

  • Monitoring registered zTC devices
  • Verifying provisioning status
  • Managing assigned zDM relationships
  • Accessing device-level operations
  • Identifying offline or unregistered devices

Notes

  • Device information availability may vary depending on connectivity status.
  • Some device metrics are updated dynamically while other information is collected during registration.
  • Available management actions depend on assigned user permissions.
