Onboarded zDM
Overview
Onboarded zDM refers to a zDM server that has been registered with zMan Director and approved for use in the management environment.
After a zDM server is installed and registered successfully, it appears under the Pending zDM list. An administrator must onboard the zDM server before it can be used to manage zTC devices.

zDM Registration
During zDM installation, the setup process can register the zDM server with zMan Director.
The registration process requires:
- zMan Director URL
- zMan Director Access Key
- zDM IP address or FQDN
The zDM IP address or FQDN should be reachable by zMan Director and the zTC devices managed through that zDM server.
Pending zDM
Once zDM registration is successful, the zDM server appears in zMan Director under:
Server Configuration > zDM Management > Pending zDM
From this page, an administrator can review the pending zDM entry and onboard it.
Onboarding zDM
To onboard a pending zDM server, select the onboarding action from the Pending zDM list.
After onboarding is completed, the zDM server moves from the Pending zDM list to the Onboarded zDM list.

Deleting a zDM Server
If a zDM server is deleted from zMan Director, it is removed from the current tenant.
If the same zDM server needs to be added again, it must go through the registration process from the zDM server and then be onboarded again in zMan Director.
Notes
- zDM must be installed and registered before it can appear in the Pending zDM list.
- zDM must be onboarded before it can be used for zTC management.
- The zDM IP address or FQDN must be reachable by zMan Director and managed zTC devices.
- If the zMan Management Access Key is regenerated, affected zDM servers may need to be registered again.
