Gateways

Overview:

IPv4 Routes is the process of directing data packets across networks using 32-bit IPv4 addresses. It ensures the efficient delivery of packets through static routes, default gateways, or dynamic routing protocols. A gateway is a router or a piece of networking hardware in a computer network, a key stopping point for data on its way to or from other networks.

Functionality:

The following functionalities are supported

  • Adding a default gateway
  • Add and Delete a static route
  • Listing of routes related to Auto, Static, OSPF, and BGP
  • Enabling IP Forwarding

Configuration Parameters

Add a default gateway

Routes

Note : For IPv6-only EC configurations that route IPv4 LAN traffic through the DC via IPv6 tunnels, you'll need to set the default IPv4 gateway to the DC Tunnel Loopback IPv4 IP so traffic can be forwarded.

Add a Static Route

Routes

List the routes from different protocols and IP Forwarding

Routes

Use Cases:

Known Limitations:

  • Only 99 Static Routes can be created per ZWAN controller
