Integrating zTC with zMAN Management Server
Summary
Steps to register, group, and manage zTC devices centrally from the zMAN Management Server (Director).
Prerequisites
- zTC with SnapOS ≥1.3
- zMAN Director URL and provision key
- Network access to zMAN server (TCP ports 443/7443)
Procedure
- Register Device
- Start → Applications → Management Server Configurator
- Enter zMAN URL and Provision Key → Apply → Reboot
- Verify in zMAN
- Open zMAN Director Console → Devices → Confirm new zTC appears in “Unassigned”
- Assign to Group & Policy
- Select device → Actions → Move to Group → choose existing or create new
- Group → Policies → apply desired configuration profile → Deploy
Advanced Configuration
- Automated Provisioning: import CSV of MAC addresses → auto-register on next boot.
- Firmware & App Updates: schedule SnapOS Update tasks per group → monitor status.
